 Ms. Cleveland’s class was using their reading materials to develop literature responses to the Island of the Blue Dolphins. 

I saw students analyzing the following methods: cause & effect, summarizing, making inferences, journalizing, developing main ideas, and identifying settings/scenes.

Making reading fun!

 Ms. Crawford’s class makes learning about problem solving fun. 

The students were playing a game that required them to be critical thinkers.  The kids were having lots of fun with it.

The class was interacting with technology tools such as Safari Montage and the LCD projector to help enhance learning.
